Evin has lived in Tucson her entire life. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s in Communications and a thematic minor in Media Arts, English, and Sociology. She has been athletic her entire life, competing in soccer, swimming, and track and field. At the age of 16 she pursued weight lifting, power lifting and body building. From there Evin became interested in the health and wellness. The idea of taking care of your body to prevent disease as well as getting your body to function so it can heal itself from illness and injury became fascinating. She began working at a local vitamin and supplement store, New Life Health Center, where she learned a great deal about alternative medicine and natural supplements. After three and a half years, she started a job at a local, world renowned destination resort where she was able to deepen her knowledge of a plethora of modalities including massage and bodywork, energy healing, and aqua therapies. It was here that she became passionate about pursing a career in massage and bodywork. Evin knew that this kind of work could help people relax and heal on a deeper level and that was what she wanted to do. She attended the Providence Institute for Massage and Bodywork, and in 2006 completed a 650 hour program and receiving her certificate for Massage and Bodywork. She has been practicing Massage Therapy ever since.
